Atom Zombie Smasher is a game about zombies. It is not, however, your typical game about zombies. Where other games about zombies might have you playing as the heroic survivor who somehow escaped infection via genetic anomaly or dumb luck, Blendo Games’ latest release does not. Instead, this ridiculously innovative tower defense-like real-time strategy game will put you in the role of faceless commander charged with the evacuation of his fellow citizens. This time, you get to be the one who orders the orbital nukes! An independent project designed using the XNA development suite. The only thing standing between peace and the zombie apocalypse is 90 million tons of Honest John baby nukes, 300 million tons of Vulcan-65 airstrike missiles, and a generous amount of napalm. Use them wisely.

    * Mercenaries for hire: Hire and upgrade your ragtag group of snipers, demolition teams, orbital bombardment crews, and more.
    * No two cities are the same: Cities are procedurally-generated, giving a unique experience with each playthrough.
    * Destructible environments: Yes, you can absolutely blow up everything.
    * Play with friends: Up to three people can cooperatively play together.
    * Mod support: Modify the game rules however you like, and share your mods through the Online File Share.
