TotalFinder is also implemented as a SIMBL plugin which extends Finder.app functionality. TotalFinder works in Snow Leopard only. The reason is clear: Finder.app has been rewritten into Cocoa in Snow Leopard which finally made this hacking possible.

WARNING: Although the developer claims this works with Mavericks, there are multiple reports that this app does not work with Mavericks (OS X 10.9). Use this app with Mavericks at your own risk!
