After Xbox360, here’s a PS3 version of “GRID 2” brought to us by scene group STRiKE. It’s an racing game with ambitions rivalling that of Codies’ fictional Bernie Ecclestone. An attempt to combine multiple racing disciplines under one hood, there are few other racing devs with the experience and technical proficiency to even attempt the idea. The sequel to Race Driver: Grid.Part of a long string of blockbuster racing games (including TOCA Championship Racing, Pro Race Driver and the original Grid), Grid 2 challenges players to be fast, be first and be famous as they enter a stunning new world of competitive motorsport. Following the success of Race Driver: Grid — which set new standards for damage, AI, visuals and introduced the Flashback time rewind feature (now adopted by many racing games) — Grid 2 will again raise the gameplay and technological bar for motorsport gaming and remain true to the series’ core value — it’s all about the race. Grid 2 will also introduce the new TrueFeel Handling System, which uses real physics to hit a sweet spot between accessibility and simulation to deliver handling that is approachable yet challenging to master.

Only 2 racing games that I’ll be playing this year, the first one being Codemasters’ ace game Grid 2 coming out this week and later on this year Forza 5. Now about Grid 2, I haven’t had the chance to preview the game since there isn’t a demo for it but Codemaster released a lot of videos on their youtube channel and the game looks neat. Only bad thing I found out is that there isn’t a cockpit view. ANTiDOTE has just released “Resident Evil Revelations” for PS3. Resident Evil Revelations tells the story of what happens between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. Revealing a brand new storyline in this horror franchise, Resident Evil: Revelations has players investigating a deadly threat on board a stranded cruise liner in the Mediterranean. You will need to fight for survival while exploring the dark and claustrophobic environments both at sea and as the action moves to dry land. Taking place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, the action centers on BSAA member Jill Valentine and introduces her new partner Parker Luciani. They have been sent to search for Chris Redfield, whose last known GPS data positions him as being on the ship. Far from being empty, danger lurks around every corner as Jill and Parker explore the confined space of the ship and must face a menacing new enemy that emerges from the darkness.

iMARS here with the new Resident Evil. As far as I know, the game was Nintendo 3DS exclusive but is being release next week on XBOX, PS3, Wii U and PC. For those interested, there’s a demo out on XBL so you can download it and try it out beforehand. The fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS system returns redefined for home consoles and PC complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience. This latest version of Resident Evil Revelations will also deliver additional content including a terrifying new enemy, extra difficulty mode, integration with ResidentEvil.net and improvements to Raid Mode. Raid Mode, which was first introduced to the series in the original version of Resident Evil Revelations, sees gamers play online in co-op mode or alone in single player taking on the hordes of enemies across a variety of missions whilst leveling up characters and earning weapon upgrades. New weapons, skill sets, and playable characters including Hunk, take the Raid Mode experience to new depths.

Firebrand and Activision’s new racer based on the crazy (and) successful movie franchise, bringing storylines from earlier movies together to lead up to Fast 6.
