COMPLEX again brought us a Xbox360 release. This time we have got our hands on “Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon”. A Third person game similar to the Crysis 2 though you dont have Nano Suit in this game. The game has been developed by Vicious Cycle Software and is a sequel of “Earth Defense Force 2017″. The game seems good with graphics work and has got a good combination of story line and gameplay. Thousands of giant insects and aliens once again ravage the earth, and only the Earth Defense Force can stop them. Defend the city of New Detroit against an infestation bigger and meaner than ever before. Destroy these monsters at all costs, even if it means turning entire city blocks into rubble!

After the COMPLEX‘s release the game scene group DUPLEX come with the release of Air Conflicts: SW for the PlayStation 3 – a decent simulator with aircrafts from the first and second world war. Have fun! In Air Conflicts: Secret Wars players can relive the most famous battles of the First and Second World War right up close. The game provides plenty of variety, as players can fly 16 meticulously detailed and accurate aircraft in nearly 50 exciting missions in the seven campaigns. The mission tasks are diverse and range from air space clearance operations to the bombardment of targets on the ground, attacks on enemy convoys and reconnaissance, escort and patrol flights.

Group MoNGoLS released the 3rd Black Ops’s DLC which is only available on XBOX 360 since yesterday. The new multiplayer maps are good IMO, but like most people I couldn’t wait to play on the new Shangri-La zombie map and try the new weapon (I don’t remember the name cos it’s too complicated), which is awesome. You can shrink zombies then run into them’ n kill them. Also if you pack-a-punch it, you get extra ammo and extra shrink time. The achievements are quite easy exept the one which require to solve the new easter egg which I hope to do in the coming days. Whats good with this new zombie map is that fkn Geore ain’t chasin’ you all round the map. Have fun.

Air Conflicts: Secret Wars is an arcade flight simulation set in World War I & II scenarios. During the 7 campaigns the player has to fly and fight through over 48 missions. Before taking off, the player can choose between different aircrafts, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Within the missions the player gets different objectives like patrolling, sneaking, hit & run, bombing and escorting. Objectives are presented as dialogs between different characters. After some missions the player can upgrade one of his skills in order to maneuver the airplanes easier, have more endurance or have your wingman boosted. Further, the player can choose between two control schemes. Arcade and simulation. The first one makes the game easier to control, while the second one gives more options to control the aircraft. Beside the campaign the game also features several multiplayer modes, local and via internet for up to four players.
