    i think the crack is bad.same problem here.cant save the options cant leave the options menu once in,and cant save the game at all.all we need is some new files and a new crack i guess.

    Yo guys... i had sorted it out...

    1) Inside your support folder in ISO which you downloaded, there have the original startup.exe and WarGame-G4WLive.exe files. Copy and replace it in the game folder once you installed the game.

    2) Download the patch and crack from http://www.filestube.com/d8aa1f19eab29a2703e9,g/Ge
    ars-Of-War-Crack-Patch.html

    3) Patched it and replace the startup.exe crack

    4) Enjoy!!!

    I did try so many methods... I'm not very sure how i had cracked the file. In fact I had finished the game loedi ... Try these way:

    1) Burn your downloaded .iso to a DVD, and install the game from there.

    or 2) Create a vitual drive by using the 'Daemon Tools' and run the setup.

    Afterall, follow the steps which I mentioned before...

    This is what I have done regardless the steps and sequences. Use it as a reference...

    1st of all... register yourself online
    http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-US/Live/Pages/li
    vejoin.aspx
    to creat a gemer profile.

    1) Burn your downloaded .iso to a DVD, and install the game from there.

    i've got the game working finally
    just install it, do the crack and set your pc time before 1/28/2008..
    do not install any patch that has been released from microsoft or the game will not run..the patch sized around 6.3 mb...i've done the patch once and the game wouldn't run because the patch recognize this game is cracked..i end up reinstall the game in order to play it back..and the good news is all my checkpoint are gone..apart from that, the game is great!!hope u enjoy it

    You may have to do this every time Games for Windows Live updates

    1-MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR TIME AND DATE TO-28/01/2008 BEFORE DOING THE FOLLOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2-OPEN PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\GEARS OF WAR

    3-DELETE THE ENTIRE BINARIES FOLDER

    4-EITHER MOUNT OR INSERT\EXTRACT YOUR GEARS OF WAR ISO

    5-OPEN THE ISO AND FIND THE BINARIES FOLDER AND COPY IT TO PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\GEARS OF WAR

    6-FIND THE CRACK IN THE ISO AND COPY THAT TO PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT GAMES\GEARS OF WAR\BINARIES FOLDER

    7-NOW YOU'VE INSTALLED WHAT WAS ORIGINALY ON THE ISO(INCLUDING DATE AND TIME) AND STILL UPDATED WL

    8-CHANGE THE DATE AND TIME BACK

    9-RUN GEARS OF WAR, ENJOY!!!
