if you have problem in installing it,
that because some (or many) files have been ripped
you "MUST" update your computer yourself,

i forget the kind of files, but you can see it in the Autodesk 3DS Max/NOPE/Help.(i forget the file format, but open it with notepad)
scroll down and you can see the kind of files that needed to update before you can installing it.

(the directx update in microsoft need "genuine" (your operating system must original, not cracked version!)

you can download it freely in internet (but i forget the site, really sorry)

it works just fine

for those having problems with the EULA:

all you gotta do is go to the eula directory and change the AdskLicense.ini. just rename the .rtf-files in the list to a .rtf-file that actually exists in that directory.

btw. i'm using win7 ultimate x64 and it works, although it's the x86 version. could be that it needs the .net framework to work (didn't try that, but is a common problem with newer software)

Most Probably 2 things are missing in here...
First of all, copy the following and paste it into notepad and save it as .cmd
Remember to mark "save file type as" to "all Files" before saving it as Setup.cmd

Now, make sure that the files are in 3DsMax\Autodesk3dsmax2010\
It means that the main folder Autodesk3dsmax2010 is in 3DsMax folder.
Make sure the folder in 3DsMax is named Autodesk3dsmax2010.
Now, copy the Setup.cmd file in 3DsMax folder and Run it.
Setup will start. If you have .Net framwork installed, all will go right, but if the setup fails, do not worry.
Google for the file "dotnetfx35.exe", it'll be around 200mb in size.
Once you have it... copy it to 3DsMax\Autodesk3dsmax2010\Support\dotnetf
x\dotnetfx35.exe
create dotnetfx folder in support folder
Try to start Setup.cmd again.... :)
