    Update on my last comment:

    I do not know whether it all works yet as i am in the middle of trying to get it to work, however i have got past the problem we all seem to have with the install.exe. To get that to work you must run it as administrator.

    This is just from memory but extract to ISO host it, mount it. Then create a folder in c drive ie dow2 then go to the mounted drive, hit explore, do not autorun! Then enter vitality folder with the exe crack etc... Run the exe crack through admin! When it asks u for the extraction folder use the folder u just made. Cmd prompt will start. This takes awhile be patient. Now it's installed run the direct x update and windows live games installer in the install folder. After this copy the cracks from vitality folder on ISO. Makes sure u copy and REPLACE! Now run the obviouse exe in the primary folder this is not the Dow one, I forget what it's called, I'll make a post with it later. When u run the application make an offline wlg account when asked. Hope this helps :)

    no, you don't copy the crack from vitality to the ISO. The vitality folder is on the ISO. Mount the ISO and then explore the drive it's mounted on, copy the cracks from the mounted vitality folder onto the folder you've installed the game onto.

    and i get the xlivestart exe to work but i just get this pic of a lady smoking and then it dissapears and nothing happens.
    I start the steam program and it sends me to a page that asks for the install code. help plz.

    You all need to read the readme files in these downloads or your just wasting your time!

    Installation Instructions:

    1. Burn or mount iso
    2. Close autorun & run install.exe from the ViTALiTY folder
    3. Create a directory to extract files example: 'C:\DoW2'
    4. Run dxsetup.exe & gfwlivesetup.exe from 'C:\DoW2\Install' folder
    5. Copy the following files to 'C:\DoW2'
    locale.ini
    Platform.dll
    vitality.dll
    xlive_start.exe
    6. Run xlive_start.exe
    7. When asked create an xLive offline account.

    DONT install the game the normal way, you DONT need a serial key!

    Oh and btw it works perfectly, thank you egyteam! :D

    My problem is when i run xlive_start.exe, output BUG SPLAT's window for a problem with some files: DOW2BRO17SQ3.dmp, JR457LF0.xml, warnings.txt....

    Hi all.

    I followed the install instruction. Create DoW2 folder, Mount ISO.
    the problem is i cant start install at all.

    I tried to run the vitality as administrator (both iso and downloade "crack only"),it let me choose the destination but the black window blink twice and nothing happend.

    I finally solve my problem.

    Is some of my downloaded file corrupted
    I found that out by using RAR function - test archived file.
    I redownload the corrupted file (which is 15 & 35 in my side).

    After done,I just get my game install perfectlly.
    Hope this will help.

    ok, this may sound stupid to more computer savy people, so my apologies in advance.

    I downloaded the parts, and extracted the resulting winrar file. i extracted it and got about 6.7 gigs worth of files. the installation steps say to mount or burn the iso file. i have daemon tools but there are no iso files? Please help? and please explain in baby steps?

    i guess u cracked it while ur anti-virus software (Avira Anti-Vir right?) was running...

    It is NO virus, its just detected as one cause it behaives like a Backdor-Trojan...

    So dont mind an shut of Avira when playing it...

    I did the same mistake with several Games/Cracks... When i start my PC, avira bombardes me with 5 Popups of the same crap...dont mind it, i know its annoying rolleyes
