MCA Recording and 20 Grammy Award-winning artist Vince Gill and famed steel guitarist, Paul Franklin, are proud to announce the release of Bakersfield on July 30 via MCA Nashville. Gill and Franklin pay tribute to the Bakersfield sound by performing songs from two of Bakersfield s sons; Buck Owens and Merle Haggard.
Gill, a 20-time Grammy winner and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and Franklin, a 13-times recipient of the Academy of Country Music’s steel guitar player of the year award, grew up riveted to Owens’ and Haggard’s music. Now playing together in the superband The Time Jumpers, the two old friends decided this was the ideal time to remind the world of what it’s been missing—not by recording a sound-alike salute but by re-animating the very heart of the music with their own affectionate and reverent interpretations.

R. Kelly released ‘My Story’, his new single featuring 2 Chainz. The track is the first taste off his forthcoming album Black Panties.“My Story” is a single by American R&B singer R. Kelly featuring 2 Chainz, written by R. Kelly for his upcoming twelfth solo studio album Black Panties. A snippet of the song was first heard at the BET Awards same year, then another a week after the ceremony. The song was released on July 29th, 2013 via R. Kelly’s Vevo, and on iTunes a day later.
